What is Human Design?
Human Design was “downloaded” in 1987 as a tool for understanding who you are in an empowered way. It is the first Aquarian system of self-awareness and understanding who you really are.
At the heart and soul of Human Design is your energetic blueprint or the map of your soul (the more technical piece is coming up). It is a chart that shows you how you are designed to interact in the world, make decisions, relate to others and even what your soul’s purpose is in this lifetime. It holds the answer to every question you had about yourself and highlights where your innate strengths lie and where you have access to wisdom.
Human Design is the science of differentiation

Your Human Design chart is created from the planetary alignment at the time and place of your birth and the time and place of your soul incarnation which is approximately 3 months before you are born in Human Design theory.

The first thing you notice in Human Design is the Type. This determines how your aura is designed to interact with the world. There are 5 Human Design types: Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector & Reflector. Each design is unique in its operation in the world because they all work together harmoniously.
Manifestors are the trailblazers, the catalysts for change and the innovators. Historically, they have been the leaders, kings and queens of the world. Manifestors initiate and inform. They have an internal urge that kick-starts the whole process for everyone else. Representing around 8% of the population, Manifestors are designed to share a message that moves the collective forward.

Generators are the creators, working with juicy life force energy by responding to the things that light them up. Generators are designed to bring things into reality because they have the consistent energy to create. They are designed to follow what lights them up because when a Generator is doing what they love, the whole world wins too! Around 37% of the population are Generators.

Manifesting Generators have a little bit of Manifestor and a little bit of Generator in their energy. Their aura still works in the same way as a Generator because they will respond to what life brings them to get involved with. In the same way that Generators have access to energy to bring things into reality, Manifesting Generators move a lot faster and are more likely to experiment with lots of different things. Approximately 33% of the population are Manifesting Generators who are designed to show the rest of the world that work and life doesn’t have to be serious.

Projectors are around 21% of the population and have a unique gift to transmute and improve the energy that is in existence. Projectors can see very clearly, in a way that others can’t, when and where more efficiency and effectiveness can be brought in. Projectors have a gift that requires recognition to be really potent. Said to be the new age leaders, Projectors are here to show us that you don’t need to work hard to create success.

Reflectors have a beautiful role to play in feeling how we are doing as a society and reflecting the truth about what is required to move forward now. 1% of the population are Reflectors who are profoundly wise and deeply connected to the people, environment and world around them. Playful and experimental, Reflectors can feel deeply and adapt easily.
